2008 News

Most of 2008 was spent on various cruise ships working for P&O performing our cabaret, as well as teaching many group classes and private lessons (see photos of us teaching aboard the Ventura on its maiden voyage.) These are some highlights:

Teaching a cabaret on board Oceana in the Caribbean.

Teresa and Richard were married aboard the R.S. Hispaniola on the River Thames on the 16th February 2008, on a beautifully sunny but frosty day. The ceremony and reception all took place on board and they were surrounded by friends and family. Ross Mitchell and his band provided the evening’s entertainment and they started the dancing with a romantic Rumba.

Shakedown cruise and maiden voyage of the Ventura:

Chosen by P&O Cruise director Neil Oliver (an ex – championship dancer) to be the first dance couple to teach and perform aboard the brand new P&O superliner made for Britain the ‘Ventura’. It was a great honour and an amazing experience that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Richard completed his Licenciate qualification in Latin with the IDTA and was commended on his performance.
